ERJ145 vs. CRJ200

Which plane is cheaper to operate, more fuel efficient, and requires less mx. From looking at other threads and other sources it looks like the erj might have the lower cost, does anyone have any info or good links on this?

Also which plane is cheaper to fly the E-170/175 or the CRJ-700/900?

The E-145 is lighter and burns less fuel compared to a CRJ-200.

The CRJ-700/900 is lighter and burns less fuel compared to the E170/E175.

As for costs...the B&CA Purchase Planning Handbook can give you a rough idea on each airplane: http://bca.aviationweek.com/forms/BCAhandbook

But passengers are happier on the Barbie Jet vs the WSCOD and happier on the Stretch Jungle Jet than the Stretch Barbie Jet.

Of course the airlines don't give a damn about what the passengers think...
