cabin smoke alarm wanted
Hallo. I'm new to this forum. In fact I'm flight attendant (24 years of flying) and not pilot.
I was looking for a airbus audio smoke alarm on the internet, no way to find one. Should I trigger a smoke alarm on board and record it ? No, I don't want to do that. Maybe someone of you can help me. Thank you. |
If anyone's smart they aren't going to touch this one. What are your intentions........seeing how it's your first post, no history, and it just doesn't feel right.

On my homepage that I have created for my colleagues (cspm study help) you can listen to all alarms. (EVAC,VCC smoke alarm, decompression in LDMCR, low airflow in LDMCR ). Concerning the smoke alarm the Airbus manuals say that:
With any development of smoke in a toilet: • Repetitive triple low chime sounds in all cabin and attendant loudspeakers every 30 seconds. Question 1:I wanted to make sure that 30 seconds are correct. Question 2: is it "dong-dong-dong" and then 30 seconds of silence or repetitive dong dong dong and then 30 seconds of silence before it starts again ? Question 3: how is the alarm on boeing ? Question 4: why nowhere on the internet can I find an aeroplane smoke alarm ? The sound should be accessible to everyone as this is an important matter. Thanks for your help |
Apoligies in advance
Yes, I think dong-dong-dong for 30 seconds is about right.

But the manual says every 30 sec.!
Do you mean dong-dong-dong for 30 sec., than silence for 30 sec., then dong-dong-dong during 30 sec. ( if not switched off in the meantime )? |
