Gulfstream's "Nutcracker" system...

After getting a tongue and cheek laugh at the “Nutcracker” term Gulfstream uses to describe its weight on wheels system that controls the deployment of certain lift and thrust reducing devices, upon further investigation and looking at flight manuals it seems like this system is overly complex compared to weight on wheels systems deployed in other business jets. Although I have no experience in this area as aviation is merely a hobby, I would be interested in hearing from experience professionals about this.
Thanks!

Perhaps my phrasing was incorrect regarding my question...basically what I meant was is this system over complicated?
