I agree Republic is much more reputable. GoJet gets beat up pretty bad on here, but I do know people there who are happy.
The perk of a place like GoJet, in my opinion, is where you could be in 2.5 years... moving on to a bigger company, bigger aircraft. At Republic, you would just be upgrading to Captain. At GoJet, you could be nearing 1,000 PIC and moving on to somewhere like Atlas, etc. Getting PIC turbine time is one of my main goals.
But, if GoJet doesn't exist in 1.5 years than the joke would be on me. Or if you upgrade to Captain on the CRJ and then had to retrain on the 175 and go back to FO.

You can't convert those CRJs to 175s without Deltas permission. Also Delta was your DIP financier in Bankruptcy, which gives big D a lot of power over your company. So if Mother Delta wants those 700s at Endeavor, Bedford will say yes sir and do what Delta asks. Bedford will get his expansion of Delta flying to the west coast with Compass, which is all he was really after in the first place. The only interest he has in Blowjet are the 25 700s he can turn into 170s. The Comair planes will be gone within the Delta system just as soon as Delta can redistribute the flying.

Your last sentence reaffirms exactly what I have already said. If Delta wants the old CRJ's at Gojets gone, they will be replaced by Republic 175s or other brand new aircraft.

Delta does not have "a lot of power" over republic. They are the smallest owner of the Big 3 and they can't do anything that AA, United, Embraer, Wells Fargo and all the other owners approve. That's why it took us so long to come out of BK, because the DOJ required safeguards to protect each owner from each other. The DIP financing they provided that always gets talked about was only for operations during BK. The stipulations of it was that it had to be paid back prior to exiting BK. Republic has always been a profitable airline, even leading up to the BK. It hadn't had a loss in like 5 year prior to BK.

With the A220 coming online. They can put 717’s on 900 routes. 900’s go to 700 routes... they don’t need to order replacements RJ’s for gojet DL aircraft...

When the Bombardier "C" was announced, DAL pilots said that it would replace the larger RJs, and the larger RJs would replace 50 seat RJs.
That info was from a while ago...not recent. I do believe that DAL wants to reduce the number of 50 seat RJs in their system.
As a mostly DAL passenger (for domestic flights) I am hopeful that I will be flying on less 50 seaters, and more A-220s...
