Mine was Skype interview, seemed to go very well. About 45 min, flew by. More back and forth about experience, a couple of TMAAT, and one tech question. Good peeps and very laid back, was definitely an enjoyable experience.

FWIW, interviewed in person w/ SkyWest yesterday and it was a night and day difference as far as thoroughness, the tech went 45 minutes for all 5 candidates. Seems to be a little overkill, just MHO.

Thank you very much! Got the "Welcome to Trans States" Class Date letter yesterday, super quick response. Weird though, I told them I couldn't start till mid January, seems to be a disconnect that I'll have to follow up w/ them today.

I'm almost certain SKW has changed their policy on on the spot CJO's; there were 5 of us there, and IMHO, most did pretty well, and in fact, one of the younger guys asked if they will be doing on-the-spot CJOs and they said no as they have revamped their policy. They told the group to expect a call w/in 4-5 business days. As far as the tech goes, they were not laid back at all, and there was no back and forth war stories. They were extremely in the weeds on most topics; meaning you would shack an answer from the original question, then they would keep digging and digging till you weren't clear about something. Was also a little irritating too because you would answer something correctly, then they would look at you weird, and go "are you sure?" yes. "Are you 100% sure?" Yes. "Well okay", and then they would move on. Pretty crappy technique, especially when you get the answers right. I could have cared less having been hazed enough in my current career, but it was definitely getting the younger kids riled and out of their comfort zone.
