Pilot Hat

Questions for TSA pilot, are you guys required to wear Hat for dress code? or is that just an optional like other regionals? thanks

Short answer is that mandatory hat wear is in the uniform policy but no one is getting written up or fired over it (unlike, say, 2007).

I’d say maybe 20% wear it at most. It’s de facto optional.
