In regards to extra flying for UA, its more complaints. We are already understaffed to the point that most see a total eclipse more often than we can drop a trip. FOs are being bypassed for upgrade/transition to either airframe because they need the bodies where they are.
SkyWest pilots are not celebrating the pain of others.

These people are potentially losing jobs and absolutely losing seniority. And you come on here talking like that? Embarrassing and classless. I’d expect nothing less out of a new XJT pilot though.

C’mon man, you’re just adding fuel to the fire. This has absolutely nothing to do with what Skywest did. It’s on TSA and and UAL. UAL saw that SkyWest has the capacity and capital for the 175s and XJT has the capacity and capital for the 145s, it’s just business.
