Point of information: DAY is not available quickly to new hires. Probably will change soon as the Cincinnati closure backlog clears out

I think a UAL sole partnership is POISON.

List of former UAL regional 'partners' that are defunct:
Colgan
ASA (merged but probably over 50% (?) of pilots did not go over)
ACA
TSA

Life Support:
XJT 2/3rds the size they used to be AFTER adding ASA
Commutair (facts on size?)

If I were a sole partner of UAL, I'd be looking for ways to diversify. True of any business, but this track record ain't good.

The partial ownership is an attempt to stabilize the feed. We'll see.
