There are deadheaders pretty much on every flight. When the weather turns and the schedule goes to crap, even more. I was in STL deadheading up to ORD after 2 days of atrocious weather and here were 13 other deadheading crew members. Needless to say, the gate agents were furious. |

I never fight the gate agents for a seat when I am dead heading. If I get one I get one.
if not, I semi quickly call scheduling and let them know what happened, sometimes I get on, sometime the plane leaves with out me. |
