Trans States US Airways Express flying
 

Has anyone heard anything about the three airplanes out there? Since last year, there were a bunch of rumors that we were going to get more Airways flying but just recently, I had heard that the remaining three airplanes are to soon be gone. I didn't really think much of it because the story has changed a few times over the past year but just recently, a gate agent asks us out of the blue when our last flight for them is.

Has anyone heard anything?

Doug Parker said in the crew news the other day all contract carriers are down to contractual mins and they have to abide by that. And basically if there was any other options to keep PDT employees from losing their jobs he would do so since he wants to take back as much USairways flying and keep it in house. So I would highly DOUBT there's any more USairways flying to go anywhere.....

Isn't all the Airways flying at-risk? If so, no matter how much TSA picks up, it doesn't effect anyone else.

i actually heard that Republic was going to pick that stuff up. I dont know if they were going to use the 145's or 170's but thats what I heard. Realisticly, its Usairways flying in and out of PIT its only a matter of time till its all gone (including republic's base).

There's a video out there of a TSA ERJ from PIT with like 5 people on it.

why is it that every time i have tried getting on one of them they are always full? the RDU flights always have a lot of mainline commuters on it trying to get to clt

Is that for "trans states holdings"?

No, no, that "other" side is a separate company... Duh.. They would NEVER do such things as share dispatchers... or maintenance people...
