Right now we have 24 on the Op Specs, have four more in maintenance being prepared to go into service and 8 more scheduled for delivery by May for a total of 36.
If I were you I'd be more concerned that United seems hell bent on removing flying from Expressjet, and is willing to use a second UAX carrier to make it happen. Personally I expected we would have some issues staffing this flying and that some of it would stay with Expressjet if we couldn't staff it. Doesn't bode well for Expressjet that UAL is sending flying assigned to them to a second carrier.

Whatever. Right now the company has more RFPs than it can handle. If not United then somebody else.

CommutAir will be picking 40 ERJ-145s which are ex-ExpressJet E145s that were returned due to their leases ending

My entire premise in posting today was how poor a choice the CQFO program was and that it did not save your staffing issues as many posted.

OOOH, I get it. It's okay to come on a TSA thread and bash the pilot group for any number of misgivings like our "substandard" contract, "poor" performance, or brag about airplanes leaving, but I make a single personal insult against you and it's us attacking all of XJT and their situation. Got it. You're giving an example of hypocrisy.
