agreed. It may be a generational thing, but you wouldn't write that up and post it on a bulletin board, would you? An Internet forum is far worse because it is searchable and stays there forever. Calling a person out by name like this in a public forum where you are anonymous is crap.

But to put this on a message board is pretty lame.

What did he do to warrant his own mentions on APC?

I would have to agree with sky skipper. If you have ever flown with him, you would know. That guy has become famous for being a douche. I guess we have to start using his initials under all the armrests now. You guys are being way too sensitive, but maybe it's a generational thing. Btw...I didn't know they had internet in retirement homes
Since everyone is being way too sensitive, maybe you should put your name out there so everyone can debate your mistakes/flaws in a public forum where everyone, news media and future employers included, can read and maybe give you a call to discuss it with you. This is not the area to discuss safety problems with other pilots, there are avenues for that and a public message board where anyone can read it is not the place. Why don't you go to LS and tell him that you think discussing safety issues with other pilots on a public message board is appropriate. I bet he will give you a different answer too.

I believe his name has since been edited. So everyone can take a chill pill now, and pull their panties out of their bung hole. Btw no one seemed to care that A.B. was named in several forums!

I care. It's inappropriate. If you don't think it is, say your name and I'll be happy to tell everyone all the mistakes you've made as a FO/CA.

As far as AB is concerned, there was an objection to calling her out by name as well. Same as this case, some folks objected to the call out by name, others didn't care. Suspect those that didn't care won't change their minds until it happens to them...
Personally, I find that the discourse on forums that require people to use their real names (places like Beechtalk come to mind) have far more civil discourse than what happens sometimes on APC. Not everyone is an issue, but there certainly are some people on this (and other) anonymous forums who really seem to push the limits of what most of us (or at least me, since I can't speak for others) find appropriate.

Unfortunately, editing it in the original post doesn't pull it out of any replies quoting that post nor a search through an internet history system like the wayback engine. Quotes don't get automatically updated in forums when the original post is updated since the quote becomes text in the new post, not an active link.
