I've been around too, and I can say TSA is a good place to work. Are there things that could make it better? Yes and a lot of the Chief Pilots here and Stamper are working hard to make it a desirable place to work.
Nice try Crusader, but the company is ahead of projections on the CQFOs and is having no problem filling them. Have a nice day.

Crusader you are old, crusty and hilarious. Your information is as dated as you are. TSA is a completely different place than it has been in the past. Largely because the DO that made it such a horrible place to work is gone (to Compass which makes your comment about Compass and TSA even more funny) and has been replaced by a former chief pilot at Comair, Keith Stamper. Stamper has slowly remade TSA into a good place to work that is well managed. He has slowly replaced the old school TSA people with Comair managment that has been turning TSA around.

I cannot blame Crusader for having those opinions as TSA was known as a bottom feeder for a long time. Many recommended not going to tsa - they didn't have the updated info about new management and dumping off certain individuals to compass. TSA is this industry's new best kept secret...no one knows that it's actually a decent place to work with a good contract. If people want to sit right seat at RAH, a place where people are actively leaving CURRENTLY, let them. Compass and TSA are both great places, but the deal breaker for any east coaster would be the fabulous commute to LAX.

It is not accurate at all! COEX was created by CAL. There was no "stealing" of aircraft or flying. If you call that stealing, then you are saying that TSA and every other regional that has ever existed has "stolen" flying from mainline.
I'd like to have a copy of the TSA contract as well, since no one wants to take the time to post about the items I don't have information on. Thanks.

People have answered your questions numerous times. Why do you care so much? Will you sleep better at night knowing your contract is better?

No have not gotten those answers. I've specifically asked about your b plan, your 401k matching, your LTD plan benefits and cost sharing, your health insurance cost sharing. I would also like to confirm your DH pay, uniform allowance, and MMG, and days off, since those are the items that were supposedly out of date in the document I provided.
Why don't you guys just provide the information on those items that are unknown to the rest of us? You seemed so impressed by your own contract. Why are you hiding it?
No, I actually don't think the xjt contract is superior. The AWAC contract is probably better and there have been other contracts that have been better. I ask for it because your own TSA pilots have said its above average. I think it's below average. I could be wrong if the times I have no information on are above average.

It may not be stolen, but it is outsourced work. Companies can move outsourced work wherever they want. If you choose to work where you perform contract, outsourced work you always face the possibility of having someone else out bid you for that contract. That is what happened here. They are churning flying just like ground operations to keep longevity low. If you decided to perform contract, outsourced work long enough sooner or later you will get bitten by this. That is why you should get your time and move on to a non contract, non outsourced situation if you can't deal with this possibility.

Look, you have no interest in TSA, fine. Just drop it. Sorry your company lost some planes. Sorry things look good over here. Does that make you feel better?
