What about supporting the union TA? That's pro union. And I've spent many times talking bad about issues here. In the end, unlike you, it's not some malicious puppet master doing it. Most of the problems here are due to incompetence and unwillingness to staff positions properly because of money.

Nah. I spend plenty of time quoting the contract to chief pilots, scheduling and payroll. My priorities are safety, pilot/union, then company. In the end, though, after ensuring a safe operation and that the company is following the contract, everyone should do what they can to help make the company money. If that makes me a company "yes man," then so be it. If you are the kind of person that does everything in their power to ensure you make money but the company doesn't, then maybe you are the reason why organized labor in this country has gone from 60% to 7% and declining in the last 30 years.

Much longer than all you panzies that whine about EVERYTHING! Holy hell.
Pretty much what he said. Been here long enough to see the turn and also compare it to other places and to know you guys are absolutely ridiculous. The things that come out of your mouth make me wonder if you wear a helmet to work, because you should seriously consider it if you don't already.

And the modern labor laws were created because of the public's distaste for current labor strife. There is a large majority of Americans who believe unions are outdated and would prefer that organization be illegal. During the financial crisis of 2008, it was discovered how much unions had virtually destroyed parts of the auto and steel industry making them virtually incapable of competing with foreign companies. Don't think for one second that if the RLA goes away, with it will go the strength of unions and ability of workers to unionize.

I don't know, since we started getting them I've had far more MX delays and cancelations flying the 'new' Eagle planes than I ever have when I'm flying planes on the United side. It's only my experience, but at least some of those Eagle planes seem to be riddled with problems, and I have a hard time believing they just appeared overnight once they got here.
I have not had a canceled flight for maintenance since before the AA airplanes started showing up. I was, however, traded into a TSA spare several times in STL when some of the AE airplanes failed to get through a pre-flight. I'm not saying they don't have problems and that I don't encounter MELs on occasion. It's not due to negligence like some people are insinuating.
Just as a point of reference, the Envoy aircraft at XJT are in good shape and condition. The XJT XRs, including those that went to TSA, have always been the ones in the best condition. Fleet wide, there are literally a handful of MELs, certainly and easily on average closer to zero than to one per aircraft. We've always maintained a controllable completion factor that is around 99.8%. For example, month to date, system wide, it's 99.88% right now. That's with about 7300 flights so far. So I don't feel that the issue is with ex-envoy or ex-xjt 145s.
