Relatively senior FOs (approx. 18-24 months) are holding between 14-17 days off in a month. It is entirely possible to have 5-10 days off in a row not using vacation with our pref bidding system. You will pay other times in the month though with one or two days off between 4 day trips.
September upgrade class includes FOs with 24 months at the company...

From the TSA website: "Current and qualified 121 pilots are not required to interview and will be offered an immediate class date, pending application approval. To qualify, pilots must have completed training and be online at a 121 airline."
So if your friend at ASA want to bail ship, apparently its just as simple as putting in an application and scheduling a class date.

If you think about it, it's not even that big a deal. They're making it seem like you're gaining a lot. What active and current RJ pilot would come here? Those guys that came from the xjet if there still here anymore were either depressed or left within a few months realizing they made a mistake. Almost any place is better maybe even Mesa, at least they fly big new planes.

No. You may credit over 100 hours while on reserve, however. Denver is not a problem for a junior FO domicile assignment.

On reserve, you don't really have a choice. You will fly what you are given. A lot, if not most, pilots are flying over guarantee while on reserve. As a line holder, your schedule will be built to 80-85 hours to start with. What you add, drop and trade around is up to you. Really depends on how many days you want off.

Yes. Depending on what base you go to, your reserve sit will be 3-5 months until you hold a line. IAD and ORD seem to be the most junior so getting a line there will be relatively easy. Your first line will be 12-13 days off and mid 80s of credit. If you pick up a day trip or a 2 day part of a trip, you'll easily be able to credit over 90. I'm a senior FO and keep 13-15 days off with mid 90s-mid 100s of credit. A friend of mine who got hired within 3 months continually had 14 days off with mid 80s of credit. This was in ORD though.

Since I commute, ORD would be prime for me.
Any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks
