Yes, I thought I could get some input from FDX pilots, which I value. Still not clear whether or not he lied to those he was partying to vote for him.... (Moak did to DL pilots just on running for President.... good bye support from me). It did quickly elicit a letter covering for it.

Thanks for playing the moderator card, too, Tony. It really ups the value of your foul call. Hey, remember back in the day when you took such great offense to the my calling out the Gulfstream Girl thing and called the moderator card then? Check out the tool of the day thread. It appears being offended is one of your finest hobbies!

Here’s to DePete doing better than previous ALPA presidents and really getting stuff done. I did like his support for NATCA, BTW.

Nice try. Six years ago I did not take offense to you calling out the Gulfstream Girl thing. You were called out by LNL76 for the offensive links you posted, you deleted her posts when she called you on it, you deleted your own post to cover it up, and deleted my posts when I called you on that.

Here's you quoting my deleted post, sort of. You replaced what I wrote with "blah blah...", quoted it, and then deleted the real post, #1360094. The Blue triangle next to my name, which is a hyperlink to my post, goes nowhere since you deleted my post. That's just one example.

Make it a conspiracy if you want, but that tinfoil hat is going to get itchy.

My comments had nothing to do with you "calling out the Gulfstream Girl thing." People expect Moderators to follow the rules, not to post links to inappropriate content, delete their own posts to cover their tracks, and delete posts of people who dare to complain.

You apparently forgot that deleting posts on the forums doesn't delete the e-mails which were sent to thread subscribers when those posts were initially made.

"Oh the tangled webs we when we practice to deceive." And 80kts feigns offense at Joe DePete. That's rich.

I did not see this listed on the topics for the upcoming union meeting.

I have no desire for a retired pilot at any airline to represent me as a national rep for our union. Another example of a union guy really not being one of us.

Everyone gets that this is just how business is done, right? No matter what is said or done, those that are in power (and its not us peons) whether elected or appointed, are going to do superficially what is good for the masses (51%, right?). But beneath its all, it's all about the money and who gets the most. Ask former VP PC at FDX......or former ALPA President DW or SS. Who is John Galt?

That would amount to a very substantial monetary penalty.

So it was about the money...

I saw more pictures of a Fedex pilot wearing his hat in the month of January than I've seen in my entire career...

What are your thoughts on ex-Fedex Joe wearing the Fedex pilot uniform?

It's not lost on many at DAL that the Fedex pilot ALPA-PAC contribution rate is way less than the ALPA pilot group average. In fact it's creating a bit of animosity when you start to realize who is playing with your money...

You just repeated what I said.

Very good.

That would be quite remarkable since FedEx pilots don't have to wear pilots, and we're not doing any picketing.

Why don't you show us one of those pictures?

Oh, that would be even better. Show us a picture of Captain DePete wearing his uniform after he retired.

Go ahead. I dare you.
