Default Joe Depete (Delta)

I think this needs it's own thread.

MOD Edit: ALPA National Chairman Joe Depete has resigned as a FDX Pilot.

I searched every other ALPA carrier's forum. No one else has a thread about this.

Please stop overwhelming us with all the details. We already have far too much understanding of what you’re talking about.

Half the profession doesn't know who Joe Depete is. Try "ALPA Chairman resigns from FedEx" and you will get more traction.

I'm in the dark here. I know who the guy is I'm not sure what the thread is about?

Joe depete May or may not have resigned from fedex. This may or may not anger people. It may or may not be reason to call your reps. It may or may not be too spooky to post about in public

Would you be happy with him continuing as your ALPA president if he has resigned from FDX? He is no longer a pilot. There are other issues involved that I really wish you would look into for yourself.

If he did, why would he? What's the advantage to resign as a pilot but stay in his ALPA position? I could see bed feathering later on, but what does anyone have to gain from that?
