Why would I do that ?

Your response is illogical.

Here's your original post.

First off, your money was never extorted from you. No one forced you to pay dues. You did so by choice. Does APA extort dues money from you? Also once your money went to ALPA it was no longer yours. It was ALPA's.

Second, your money going to TWA pilots rather ALPA is no longer an option because you're no longer an ALPA member. Therefore, in order for any of your money to go to former TWA pilots, you'd need to pull out your checkbook.

Yep, that's my original post. It had nothing to do with sending them money they don't already have, thus your suggestion for check writing was irrelevant.

Actually, it was and they did. You see, if you don't pay ALPA, they have you fired. That's extortion any way you want to slice it. Don't agree ?

I don't care.

Irrelevant and your strawman argument is meritless. I simply said I'D RATHER as in if I had a choice. I'd much prefer my money go to those victimized by corrupt organizations then to benefit the corrupt organization itself. Considering your emotional stance on my preference for my former dues money's destination (which ain't none of your business anyway), you must be a devout Herndon baton twirler. That's your choice, but don't project that on me.

Well that's simply not true. But if lies help you feel better about yourself, then go ahead and tell them.

No straw man argument here. I simply laid down the facts. I do find it interesting that you label my stance as emotional, considering you're the one who continues to label ALPA as corrupt and guilty of "victimizing" individuals. And then you top it off with name calling. And I'm the one with an emotional stance?

No, you "laid down" your OPINION and "Baton Twirler" is more of a descriptive reference vs. true "name calling", but hey, whatever floats your boat. I guess it's okay for you to engage in name calling (you're saying I'm a liar), but not others, eh ? Look, I stated my opinion, you disagree and stated yours. Since we'll never agree that ALPA is a respectable organization I think 'nuff said so perhaps it's time to end your apparent jihad against me on this issue........or is that name-calling too ?

I want to kill you in the name of ALPA?

BTW, your money becoming ALPA's money once you voluntarily paid your dues is not an opinion. It's a fact. Once it goes to ALPA, it's no longer yours. Can you spend APA's money as you please?

If I didn't pay ALPA (be it dues or a "shop fee"), they'd seek to have me terminated. That's a fact. So again, once they extorted my money against my will, it is indeed theirs (that's the way the "system" is set up), BUT I said if I had a CHOICE of them keeping it or it ending up in the hands of TWA pilots, I'd rather the TWA pilots had it.

AGAIN *sigh*, we simply disagree. Since we will NEVER agree, AGAIN *sigh* , perhaps it's time to stop beating this obviously dead horse that's in an advanced state of decomposition. You're a mod and I'd think you of all participants here would understand the futility of continuing pointless disagreements.

If this is the case then why do you keep responding?
