Default TWA DFR lawsuit against ALPA?

I am curious if anyone knows what the status of the TWA pilots lawsuit against ALPA for DFR is?

Did the lawsuit against ALPA go away or is it on hold or was it just a rumor?

I suspect its just a rumor. The TWA pilot group waived the labor protections in their contract voluntarily. AMR said they would not conclude the purchase agreement if the TWA required seniority integration process stayed in place.

A good friend of mine is ex-TWA and was on the receiving end of a lawsuit (ie, named i the suit along with a bunch of others) connected to the TWA/AA merger. He's not at AA now, he bypassed. I haven't asked him about the lawsuit lately, he doesn't have kind words for AA.

There are a lot of AA guys who don't have kind words about TWA as well. Having said that, I was at the ORD APA union meeting yesterday and this very subject came up (imagine that). There are no remaining suits regarding the TWA/AA SLI. There is one remaining suit regarding Supp W (AE flow thru) and it's about "dual remedy" and is currently in front of a Tennessee judge

It goes to trial June 6th in Camden, NJ. ALPA's attempts to get the case dismissed failed.

I don't know if this is the case y'all are referring to: http://www.twapilots.com/complaint.htm but that's one that I found.

What's the goal of this suit ?

I don't see how the seniority issue can be altered at this point, so I'm assuming a monetary award from ALPA.

Even that seems like a real longshot.

I would be shocked if it went anywhere. The TWA pilots made the choice they made. I guess ALPA could have tried to force them to not agree with the demands of the AA pilots to complete the merger but then its highly likely TWA would have shutdown.
