C171 Recall effort.
 

IAH pilots,

If you are inclined to pursue recall of the current LEC Reps, action is required.

It is apparent despite resolutions for resignation, etc. that the LEC Reps do not intend to follow the wishes of the council.

What happened to the direction from the MEC that tell council pilots to use resolutions to communicate with their LEC and MEC? Apparently, that’s only good for softball topics……

Petitions for a special recall meeting have to be on paper and signed in pen.

As to a 171 meeting in the fall quarter, Oct bidding is done and NO meeting date. Sad statement in my opinion. The Reps know they will be recalled at a normal meeting as well given the prior resolutions on the topic that have been passed. As soon as they name a dat, we go through Natl to ballot the 171 pilots on the recall. Have to give them sufficient notice so a snail ballot can be sent (is it 2022?????).

Looks like they will have to be forced into a special meeting with 1 purpose and 3 recall agenda items.

Get busy and pass the word if you are of same mind.

We have 2/3 of the petitions needed for the special meeting. We are a big council so need the word spread.

To the IAH LEC Reps (GE and PH),
The movement to get a recall special meeting is now 2/3 of the way through. Resolutions were passed at the last meeting asking you two to step down.

PLEASE show some integrity and resign!

Any the alternative would be who? The S & L show? Their first agenda item would be full back pay for not getting the shot. S was recalled once before.
