Military Leave

So dropping military leave for 6 weeks. If I have vacation over one of those weeks, will United just pay out that week?
Any other option?
Possible to cancel and use that week of mil leave later?

Maybe this?

11-F-8 Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, vacation canceled pursuant to the provisions under Section 11-F shall be available for the Pilot to bid in monthly vacation bidding and awarding. Any canceled vacation days that remain un-awarded at the end of the Vacation Year, shall be treated in accordance with Section 11-H.

Military Leave

Also check the military handbook in Content Locker. Thanks to eagledriver for pointing that out to me. Good info in there, I never knew we had it. It explains requal requirements, PRAP contribution rules, USERRA gouge, etc.

pretty confident you can get paid for the days if you desire... they will make all the surrounding days MLV but keep vacation. If you want to cancel them you can also...

11-F-8 applies, or use the vacation, as stated above. You can send an email and/or call pilot planning, I think, to get the desired effect.

I've had this happen where vacation was awarded when I was to be deployed. I talked to the futures desk and they just moved the vacation days to the next year.
