I may be misreading the key strokes but aren't you guys saying the same thing?

Master starts with saying senior guys sold out junior guys, Awax replies with sarcasm that states "yeah, but I got mine", but the use of sarcasm implies he believes the opposite, and Mako expresses a well tutored view that even though he is senior he thinks there is room to alter the winner take all paradigm of seniority today.

Am I wrong or are you guys actually all expressing the same sentiment? No matter where you fall on the seniority list we should all work towards improving the "whole enchilada" and not cherry pick for our situation when it comes to contract negotiations.

Yes we need more domestic airframes, Kirby wants to grow domestically and he can't have anymore large RJ's so he is looking at used airbuses and Boeings. The A321's probably replace the older Pratt powered 757's on transons.

Does anyone know how many used copa 737s and Chinese a320s we are actually flying? I've only ever seen one of the copa jets and can't comment on the Airbus.

Unfortunantly the buscappy me me me generation refuses to do anything about it. You had it so bad back when you were a junior puke, I'm sure your blood boils when you see a new hire having it better than you had it.

Get over yourself and leave this place better than you had it from top to bottom. I talked to only 1 CA during the contract extension who actually knew what it said. All the others said LOOK AT THE MONEY!!!! ME, ME, ME and you're stupid for thinking anyway else. Unionism means more than just knowing and following the contract it's about the brotherhood and support from top to bottom.

So again when do you retire so we can finally cut out the disease that holds us back as a pilot group.
And so your main argument against the senior guys' "Me me me" is essentially your own "ME me me".

Not really because if you change the contract and world rules you help everybody. If you take the money and run you help nobody. But you are correct in the fact that what is good for one is not good for all.

Space available to stand
Changing area

Cost to modify crew rest area too expensive and Airbus refuses to modify.

Again this is from my memory, I may have missed something or made an error. What I can tell you that I remember perfectly clear. The management counterparts of the CROC committee that traveled with them to study the 350 crew rest area was 100% in agreement with ALPA that the 350 crew rest area wasn't 117 compliant.
Still better than the B757 then. Stepping over a snoring passenger who has used your seat as storage and stolen your pillow and blanket.
