If companies like United want to continue to outsource their product they can continue to expect to be blamed for it. It's really simple.

Um no how about reporting properly? When the shorts tragically crashed in WV recently did the media report "UPS plane crashes in WV"? Ofc not even though they were flying as a subcontractor for UPS.

But thanks for playing.

I was amazed at how quickly the Colgan crashed got labelled the "Colgan crash." The media has a hard time differentiating mainline from express, and when they do, more often than not the only indicator is the word "Express."

Anyway, lots of information missing in this article. Are they on short final? Below 10? Just leaving cruise?

99 out of 100 passengers would say, "Sorry, I NEED the lav," and then just go use it before using a cup. Also, I wouldn't share the fact with the world if I ended up being that 1 in 100. There's a credible possibility this woman was looking for her 5 minutes of fame.

I think it is news and I would appreciate it if fewer people urinated themselves or in the aisle before getting off the aircraft that I'm flying.
Express flight attendants rule the cabin with an iron fist. I don't know what they tell them in training. There is a clear diffenece with mainline inflight.
Add that to the guys I fly with who can't be bothered to turn the belt sign off for intermittent light chop going halfway across the country.
Or the guys that will turn the belt sign on whenever the FA requests.
This is a problem on the express side.

Add to that on our CR7 with one bathroom on a four hour smooth perfect flight, 1/3 of the people physically do not have enough time to use the restroom assuming 1 hour of taxi, departure, arrivals and giving the people 4 minutes to exit their row, use the restroom and return to their row. "don't leave the gate area" "don't forget your green tags"

The passengers urinating themselves on the planes happens too often on the express side and it needs to be addressed.

Not to mention the seatbelt sign will probably be left on the entire flight....
On the ground, if a flight attendant calls the cockpit to inform the pilots that a passenger has walked into the lav, why do the Express guys hit the brakes and cause a traffic backup? I've never understood why they feel that have to stop on a busy taxiway.....
