I flew three different paint jobs at 2 different FFD carriers. UAX at both. Needless to say, UAL ran the crappiest outsourced operation. Pre 9/11, during the BK-Dark Decade, AND after.

CAL was "unique" in that prior to 2007, they controlled 100% of their RJ feed and paid them a lot to do it. The "product" was much more streamlined than having a bunch of contracted/outsourced vendors left to their own devices.
