Emerald coast was extremely convenient with the unlimited webinars. You are going to suck on the first go around. I did Cage as well and found it similar but their advice conflicted with emerald on resume layout and a few talking points that emerald liked but they wanted to change. I didn't have a very positive impression from Deedee and felt very much like just a number. I was successful at jetblue, delta, and united. Delta was the toughest and involved the most prep. Emerald nailed the Delta but wasn't as thorough as Cage was with United. If you are military a prep service is absolutely crucial to weed out the jargon and phraseology that isn't used in the airline world. Doing prep before career fairs is also a great idea because they ask identical interview questions and are usually the same people that you see on interview day.

I didn't "pay" for a prep service...

***HOWEVER, I have helped a few buds go over the prep courses they paid for and practiced TMAAT questions with them A LOT. By the end of a few months, I felt very prepared and confident. I also took the advice from an HR friend of mine and videotaped several TMAAT events with my friend. That was huge for picking out little mannerisms and annoying "uh and you know" and poor eye contact.
I also had the fortune of interviewing with a 747/767 cargo company and a crappy airbus operator(strictly for practice, knowing full well I'd never leave my current job for them-Still have an open offer) NOTHING beats actual interview experience, if you can get it! (especially if it ends up positive)

I did emerald coast and thought it was good. I felt well prepared and was offered a CJO. I also did the veteran recruiting event and the captain I talked with at the event by coincidence was also the captain during my interview. Agree that doing prep before a job fair is a good idea, the captain remembered me and a few details from my event introduction. I had my "elevator speech" ready for the recruiting event based on the emerald coast prep and that is what the captain remembered when we met again during the interview.

I recently used TakeFlight http://takeflightconsulting.com to build my resume and review my apps on file with Delta and United. They were very professional, fast, and great to work with. I strongly recommend them and were a little less expensive than everyone else.

As for interview prep when it is time, I will be using Emerald Coast as I hear they are awesome. :D
