Trip Trading over 2 different months

Has there been a work around yet so you can trip trade over 2 bid periods? Have a 4 day at the end of the month, and there are two 2-day trips over the same period. Unfortunately, the 2nd 2-day falls over the end and start of different bid months.

Is calling the Crew desk the only way? But even then, i don't think their system will allow it.

Suggestions?

Have you tried trading the 4 day in June for the 2 day in June, letting that process, then doing a pickup on the 2 day in July? The system will probably disallow it due to "no coverage", but it's worth a try. I don't think there's any other way to do it.

I'd also advertise the 4 day as a straight drop (no trade) using Trip Advertisements. I've had a lot of luck where others have picked up my trips doing that when there hasn't been coverage. That way, the trip he's attempting to drop shows up in the 'Open Time' screen, giving it more visibility.

If he puts it in as a Seniority Trip Trade, the trip he's trying to drop will never get posted in Open Time, so people don't know he's trying to drop it. I'd run a trade, as you suggested, through Seniority Trip Trade. If it comes back No Coverage after the run, I'll also advertise the 4 day as a straight trip drop using Trip Advertisements. Once the trip's dropped, I'd then pick up the two 2 day trips from open time. The risk, of course, is that someone else picks up the two 2 days, but from what I've seen from my BES is that if a trip sits there for a day, it's unlikely to get picked up.
