New 767A Configuration
According to the bulletin today, it is finally happening. Let's bow our heads for a moment of silence and mourn the death of the 3 class 767s, and their glorious rest seat. A rest seat that comfortably sleeps someone over 6 feet tall, with broad shoulders. A rest seat that you don't have to climb over a passenger to get into and out of. A rest seat that has a real privacy curtain, whereby you can take off your shirt and put on some comfy sweat pants to assist with falling asleep. Sigh....
The new cabin layout on the bulletin posted today neglects to identify where our seat is, but one thing looks clear, our real estate for rest just got smaller. |

The first re-configured aircraft is getting its STC flight check in Hong Kong as we speak. The ALPA guys that were inspecting the crew rest seat were on our flight back. I didn't get too many specifics, but they did say it is seat 1A and these are the same Polaris first class seats as we are getting on the 777-300.
I suppose I'll get to test it out sooner than later. Fingers crossed that I fit [emoji1374] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Why don't you just email the (CROC) crew rest oversight committee and ask them any question you have, they just went to inspect it twice in the last month in HKG.
Yes seat 1A , aisle direct entry like the entire "polaris" area of the cabin, yes curtain comes with it, thats all I know. |
