Travelers Insurance
Anyone have experience with Travelers they would like to share?
We are thinking about leaving State Farm. Our agent retired. The premiums seem very high and my claims experience over the last 30 years has been so-so. Local agent can't really help with claims disputes anymore.
Travelers offers discounts through United.

I was with State Farm since I was 16 yo on mom and dads policy.
I have had zero auto or home claims in the last almost 4 decades.
Recently, they jacked up the auto rates over 20 percent, calling it a "blanket increase".
So, shopped around and Geico got the autos and motorcycles etc.
When it came time to renew homeowners, State Farm was 700 dollars more then Liberty Mutual....
So, more as a general springboard of your post, just wanted to show how it pays to shop around

I do have a horror story about Geiko. I was hit by a person insured by Geiko. Night mare to get the money out of them. State Farm finally ate the cost of fixing the car, and sued Geiko. After 2 years I finally got my deductible back from the suit. You get what you pay for.

The prices are state dependent also... I had USAA for a while until they priced themselves out of the market here too.

We have GEICO, had one claim from a car accident, my fault 
, they covered us quickly and got more from the car being totaled then I could have sold it for, very happy. No hassles at all. We have them for cars, boat and home. We previously had Allstate, had no claims until a hail storm, had to fight them for months with my contractor to get my roof fixed, they sent 3 claims people out who all agreed we had damage. fought us at every corner, our agent was no help whatsoever, I cancelled as soon as the claim settled, I’ve heard nationwide and travelers are very good to work with. Allstate sucks...

Allstate sucks...I've never had Allstate, but have experience with USAA and the non coverage with Geico, and State Farm. I thought I would never go anywhere but USAA, but that too changed.
