If the Captain say nobody is going to eat in the bunkroom, that is what is going to happen. Also if the Captain says no eating until we get passed XXX, that is his/her call also.
Doesn't matter to me, but yes the Captain does have that authority.

Well I seems to me that my ability to eat when I need to is a safety of flight issue. So if the capt wants to limit my ability to eat then he might need to find another fo.

Think about it, we just had a big deal with getting the FAs to feed us on our schedule and not theirs, and now we could potentially let a capt put those restrictions on us? No thanks.

HAHAHAHA If the CA tells me when and where I can and can't eat they will need to be finding another FO.

Safety of flight. Captain is not an all powerful dictator. I would not take kindly to someone telling me where and when I can eat. I'm not 2 anymore. (Except if you ask my wife.) The seats are in the bunk room are there precisely so you do have a place to eat. I eat snacks in there all the time. It should matter to you. A 15 hour flight, easy call, safety of flight--unless you don't want to eat airline food and are on the food poisoning diet plan. File an FSAP, call pro standards.

The whole idea is dumb, akin to wearing tin foil on your head. :D
