Default Hopefull New Hire

I just recently passed the Hogan and received the email to schedule my interview. After following the prompts, it looks like all the interview dates are booked until late March.
Does anyone know if its possible to be notified (either by the system or by pilot hiring) of earlier openings due to someone dropping out?
Also, how long are guys/gals waiting from CJO to starting training?
Thanks in advance.

At United there is no way to tell. I had 2.5 months from CJO until class. The pilots starting Feb 18 waited 8-11 months. United changes the pilot hiring numbers weekly. Wide swings of 1200 a year to as little as 200. Good luck in the interview.

I got a CJO in the beginning of Dec and was told to expect training in the middle of 2018. I'm hoping it truly is the middle but I know there are quite a few in the pool who have waited longer than that. And congrats on passing the Hogan, that was the scary part for me!

I just got the Hogan invite a few days ago and just knocked it out this evening. Hopefully I’ll find out good news tomorrow. Late March, eh? Well I guess it’s good that there is plenty of time to prepare. On the other hand, that’s almost too much time! Good luck! Hopefully I’ll join you!

For those coming through best of luck. It's a tough wait with all the pauses we have going in right now.

However be smart and get some interview help . Caige is who I used for United as wel as previous airlines both were successful . However other companies do great jobs as well. Even if you don't feel need it , it's still helpful to get an outside viewpoint on how you will interview .

With the few hundred bucks considering what's on the other side .

Congrats on getting the invite
