iPad data limits
 

After a week of watching my flight plan down load like molasses, I called support.

Found out after 1gig of data per month, we get throttled down.

When I picked up my new iPad during airport appreciation time, I used wireless data to download the apps/data, since the skyfi was overloaded. That put me at the limit appaerently. I don't use the company iPad for anything else.

Doing a hard reset helped a little. Will have to wait a few days for the data limit to reset.

Has the 1 gig limit always been the case?

Not sure about the exact number, but yes. The usage is unlimited but the speed is not.

Yes, it has always been 1gb of data monthly. Plans reset the 1st week of every month....recent enhancements allow us some faster speeds (relatively) outside of the US. And, as was just pointed out, never....never......ever download a whole new Content Locker or Jepp load on cellular.
