Maybe this thread should be shared in the general category as well... It may be slightly United specific but I think all pilots, at the major and regional level, can appreciate what this scholarship fund means to this pilot and his family.

I am always cynical about charities, but this one is too easy. I can't believe we can't get 50% participation by the pilot group. Although it has only been 3 days :<)
