Yes, I am a commuter and the Q35 ufly mike set up sure looks appealing if it wasn't for the tso issue.
And thanks for the DC Pro X report. Glad you like it. I'm curious if you aren't on hot mike... can you easily hear the other pilot at cruise or do you have to slide the muff off the ear a little?

Looks like this thread is about a year old but wondering if anyone has tried ANR bose, david clarks, or sennheisers on UAL airbus dual plug setup? I recently tried plugging my Sennheiser hmec 26 (that I use on the 737) and my headset didn't recognize that it was plugged in... ie no mic power). I tried running through different switch options on my headset but on this quick check it didn't seem compatible. I wonder if UAL wired the mic plug with no mic voltage or if this was just a fluke? thx
This is an issue with some of the aircraft. I use a Bose A20 (carry over from the 737) and found that occasionally the mic plug didn't feel like it was fully seated when plugged in. When this happened, the mic portion of the headset wouldn't work.
The are at least two mic plugs that are common on commercial headsets. They look very similar but one has a slightly more rounded head. If you are using a personal headset and are having problems, this is probably the issue. Compare your mic jack plug to the stock setup on the aircraft. You'll probably see that your mic plug is slightly different.
If you are using a Bose aviation headset, call their aviation support number. They will send you an adapter that will fix this issue.
Hope this helps

With my DC Pro-X, I fly with the left ear volume all the way down and the right ear volume mostly up. I never take the headset off, not even when the FA comes up fora crew break. I want the NC protections and hear the CA and/or js'er just fine.
