C33 Captain Rep
If you are a Denver guy, please take time to vote for Captain S.K.'s replacement.
Captain J.C., who has decades of ALPA volunteer service and has headed local and national committees...or Captain M.M., who has no ALPA history whatsoever (other than member in good standing). Their campaign letters should have already hit your inbox. Thanks. |

Not having “ALPA history” doesn’t mean a bad candidate... sometimes too much ALPA history is worse...
I sure hope it's a landslide. |
Hopefully J.C. gave you a reach around...

I understand why our pilots are complacent - we have a good Contract with decent QWL. But we're still not paid correctly, the Company speeds relentlessly on the Contract, our PDR count is increasing, and we're in Section 6. Congress is debating cabotage, our President seems mute on the issue, while our careers hang in the balance. Right to work is relentlessly at the door and there's talk of single pilot (transitioning to remote flying cargo aircraft). I recognize there's a sh!tload of work to do and am taking the next step. I sent out an email asking Denver pilots to consider their future, consider their candidates, and vote. I'm open to discussing any and all issues with C33 pilot - PM me with a phone contact to continue this dialogue. JC |

When I read all the whiny pilot BS on these forums I figure anyone who is willing to deal with whiny tightwad pilots and their BS is entitled to whatever perk they can scarf at the trough.
The Aeromed and Lawyer squad by themselves are worth far more than whatever the dues kicker is. Just hope you never need them and let it go. |

to be fair, people can view a career of ALPA history as a bad thing...too long at the trough.
I can't make pilots get involved in service to others - but I can and will urge them to stay informed, fly the contract, stay professional, and let the MEC deliver a great contract for ratification. We work for you, no secret Calamari Club, no unwritten code or agenda - we work for you and serve at YOUR pleasure. JC |

Agreed, but look at the individual. I'm JC and I've committed my energy and effort to service to others as a Membership guy. I did a stint of representation at TK when no one else would run 25 years ago. Our Chairman in C33 resigned and I banged the phones of Denver pilots known to be well qualified and experienced enough to fill the remaining 2 years. To no avail.
