So if IAD will increase capacity, does that mean we might upgrade the doublewide?

I doubt they’ll upgrade anything unless MWAA changes their prices to something reasonable I wonder if that means widebody FO positions will start going junior again. Particularly the 787, since it will be a new category and most will probably want to see the g line before bidding it.

Now that's funny! Considering mostly every WB FO can bid Captain now if they want. I do not see that changing anytime soon.

Maybe they will finally build a terminal over the, “ train to nowhere“ Where it’s supposed to be. Dulles could be our Atlanta if we play our cards right. One can dream...

Isn’t a proposed spot for Amazon HQ2 right next to IAD? If DC were selected that would be a huge win for us.

I've seen rumors to the effect that N. VA is the front runner for HQ2. Even without it, the amount of construction in the vicinity of the airport is impressive. IAD is going to grow all right, as the only major airport in the NE corridor which has significant expansion potential. I'd guess a new terminal gets underway after the ORD and LAX Terminal 9 projects are about wrapped up - so long as MWAA plays ball.

Mainline connecting pax will just love having 40 minutes to get from C135 to A28.
They’re building a completely new terminal by the ups ramp and are demolishing terminals A and B.

A and B???? You mean C and D. That's been the long range plan for more than a couple of decades. Dulles Development Projects | Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority
