However, your attempt to equate safety related, FAA approved Ops specs with admin. issues like the hat is laughable. Do you really think the FAA gives a rat’s ass about the uniform? A few others commented about it as well. It came across as I must violate safety related policy since I think the hat is silly. If that wasn’t your intention, then fair enough. |
I say not hats or ties. Let's get professionally comfortable. It is the 21st century. After that, we push for beards not to exceed 1/4" in length. At that point, we have arrived. A man can dream.

Looking forward to one of our male Pilots not wearing the tie because the female Pilots aren't required to. Should lead to some fun.
