Content locker issues 6/6/18
All,
There is an critical issue with Content Locker and Apple's new iOS. If iOS 11.4 is downloaded on your device or begins to download in the background on your device, AirWatch will misinterpret this as an attempt to "Jail Break" your EFB. If this occurs, your Content Locker will be disabled and all content will be unavailable. you will still be able to access Flight Manuals through the Pubs tab in the JeppFD-Pro Route List. Until the issue is fixed, use cellular data and avoid connecting to WiFi. This should prevent the iOS update from downloading without your knowledge. Check CCS for further information. |
There may be a different bug, but we had a problem with both EFBs dumping content locker last week. Confirmed both devices had the approved 11.3.1 iOS installed. I don't expect to hear back on the report but both devices dumped (different phases of flight) after going to airplane mode.
Manual backups in Jepps, apparently. So bummed, we're going to have to wait to see how the FOM ends. Technology company with wings baby! |

The Content Locker issue is resolved and you can return to normal ops with your EFB. If the iPad locks you out of Content Locker, fully close and reopen the application. This will necessitate reloading all documents, so allow time for that if possible. This should be a one-time event.

Mine's not resolved . It says "SSO Locked." Second issue in a week.

IT has been wonky and problematic for years. It started somewhere around the rollout of Shares. This is just the latest example. |

Did you fully close and reopen? If that doesn't work let me know.
YES, tried that about 5 times on my all nighter last night. Kept getting the SSO Locked message. FSAP to follow. |
