Boarding Pass

Anyone know how to get a copy of boarding pass for middle seat pay.
Not in the app after flight was complete, and I forgot to screenshot...

I just got paid without the boarding pass. Just put in the comments that I didn't have it. I had screenshot it but accidentally deleted it.

FWIW, they are more than capable of looking up seat assignments themselves but they just want to have somebody else do the leg work to save their time.

If you get any pushback, simply ask, "Under which section of the contract is this pay claim being denied?"

Sure, they can look it up... why not cause more work for another co-worker.

And when you ask "Under which section of the contract is this pay claim being denied?" they will quote section 5-C-1-j ...”When submitting a pay claim for such Add Pay, a Pilot must provide supporting documentation, including but not limited to the reservation number, the seat actually occupied, and a description of the event.”

The point is UAL’s own I.T. is the limiting factor. (Shocker!)

If the boarding pass disappears from the app, and yes, this also happens to revenue passengers, what is the pilot supposed to do? Not get paid?

That said, if one has the screenshot by all means send it in.

We are not trying to create work for a co-worker, but somehow we were responsible for documenting things out of our control but completely under the company’s control, including internal processes that **should** be able to track all of this automatically anyway.

That co-worker is the only one involved that can look up this info after the fact. It’s the system UA has created for better or worse.

Got to a gate agent and they will be able to pull it and print you a pass. It takes a minute and you will need someone knowledgeable to do it, but it can be done. Had this happen twice. Now I take about 3 screen shots when it gets booked, checked in, and boarded.

If you load your boarding pass onto a phone home screen display for paperless scanning, such as Apple Wallet, then those boarding passes are there until you delete them. I assume Android has a similar ability. I just pullled one up from February 2016, gate, seat number, etc. Didn’t think of that until now, but it will be useful from now on.

When you check in with the app just have it email you the boarding pass.
