It’s such a junior base many are making more than $500 more than they could at a lower cost base. There is a reason EWR and SFO are so junior. I could bid up a pay band if I went there but prefer to make less and spend less.
I only looked at one quick reference but for example, 777 FO

Then get rid of the Guam money! Fair is fair

Do you think that rent is the only cost to someone living in Guam? There is food, living, transportation, education costs for family,entertainment, travel...
If you are married, good luck with your Spouse getting a decent paying job. I’m guessing spouses in SFO have a few more options.
The list of expenses that are higher on Guam than on the mainland goes on and on.
Like the previous poster wrote. Go ahead and bid it and see how you fair with an extra $3K(taxed)/month.
