Isn’t this the guy who was leading the decertification campaign of ALPA at United some years ago? Now he’s running for ALPA President?

So which of Andy’s statements about scope do you think are retarded?

I think his attacks on people who devote hours of their lives trying to improve the lives of others are. We've all been helped by alpa.

He has actually done nothing except flap his big mouth. He hasn't improved anyone's life. Its very easy to be loud and afraid, its very difficult to help other people. he takes the easy way out.

He's a POS and everyone ( including him knows it).

He and his ilk are all that is wrong with the pilot profession. Get past the BS emails and platitudes and look at his and his "buddies" actions and you'll have your answer. He is everything you don't want in a representative.

For those of us who are newer to the company, please elaborate.

Yep, delusions of grandeur without a track record of success or wisdom to back it up. In his mind, only Andy Collins can fix ALPA. Sound familiar?

Questions about Andy. Representing 60,000 pilots is a big job. Since he's running for president, fair questions:

Education (School, degrees held, etc)

Years as ALPA member

Why did he want United Pilots to LEAVE ALPA?

He QUIT his position as LEC Chair in DCA at begining of summer. Why?

Why don't you come to the C11 meeting on Friday and ask him face to face like a man instead of hiding behind a new screen name? Excellent first post btw....
