I took the hogan this morning. I probably over thought a few questions... anyone take it recently know how long to hear back either way? I keep refreshing my email like a crazy person who should have failed the test!

One guy took 10+ days in my squadron, mine 7 days, another heard in 4-5. I wouldn't read into any length of time, either youll get TBNT or Interview invite, no news means at least there is still hope.

Hogan’s are still trickling out
Took the Hogan yesterday evening and am awaiting the results. I have jumped out of airplanes, am a certified PADI diver, and would love to drive a race car. Probably makes me non-select, but we shall see.

Got the invite last night, took it this morning, got the interview invite tonight.
Civilian job fair attendee. The gouge is exactly as they said: answer with your true feeling. Don’t over think it. DO read the questions carefully. There are lots of double negatives and absolutes (never, always, etc.)

I was really nervous about the Hogan because I know a lot of folks who didn't pass it, so I paid Career Takeoff for their Hogan prep service. And I'm glad I did. You take a practice test that's similar to the Hogan and then get feedback on your answers - the 'at work' technique would have helped but the way I was reading questions was leading me to answer them in a way that didn't reflect how I operate in a professional environment. Rebekah Krone walked me through a ton(!) of practice questions and by the end I understood them a lot better - she didn't show me how to answer with what United might be looking for, but how to answer them for myself that reflected my personality and didn't sell myself short. There's no silver bullet that United is looking for, so you can be yourself - you just have to make sure you understand what the questions are asking. Bottom line, if you're worried about this thing pay a little money to get some prep - it will definitely be worth it when you get the interview invite. Thank you Rebekah!
