Default Den airbus

I see there is a pay difference between the 319 & 320 and curious what the breakdown is in Den. TIA

Impossible to predict what the ratio is.

Go download all the DEN IDs for a year and every month separate out all the A320s and A319s and you will have your ratio. Then break out all the IDs that have A320 and A319.....then break down how many of each type is flown for each number of days 1-4.

I won’t do this much work but you can

IMHO, it would be really cool if somebody could compute an avarege Airbus pay rate using the ratio of 319s-to-320s.

I’m not sure what one would call that, but “Blended Rate” seems like it might work.

I"ll assume you are a new hire. In that case, the answer is easy. First year pay is $87.79 so there is no difference (A319-777 = $87.79) . We really have three pay rates, A320, A319 and blended rate. Blended rate being the average of the two rates based on the percentage of each aircraft in the fleet. All vacation and training is paid at the blended rate.

The aircraft ratio for Oct. is 60% A320 vs 40% A319. The 737 is 88% vs 12%. So in the long run the 737 pays a few bucks an hour more than the Airbus.

I see 23 A319 departures today vs 36 A320 departures from DEN (So 60/40 is pretty spot on).

No possible way. I don’t see the company providing a “blended rate” online and updating it every month.

We’d have to codify it in contractual language, ugghhh, the logistics. Total pipe dream pal.

Never understood why they separated pay.

The 767-400 paid the same as the 747-400!

Actually they do. Try searching blended rates in Flying Together. Comes up under UPA updates, scroll down. The info is updated every month.
