They might have to reduce that 756 number by a few after the Newark incident the other day.

now the question is:

SFO 777 FO under a year?
Most junior upgrade time?

Those questions will be answered either on the bid in Sept (December training dates??) or on the bid in Jan/Feb when we are likely to be getting the last big bid for the summer of 20 flying.

Even though we have had way junior WB FO numbers in the past, I doubt they will go that low. In the past contracts the training freeze a pilot had would prevent you from bidding to any other First Officer seat. So, if you had a freeze at all you couldn't bid up to a WB. Now, all the pilots that have a freeze on the 737,320, and 756 are free to bid up to the WB, so there are many more pilots eligible to take the bid than in contracts past.

On the other side of that arguement, commuting to SFO for reserve has a high degree of suckage. So, not sure I could see it going down to a first year pilot, but ..... in the words of Dumb and Dumber, "You're telling me there's a chance."
