Thx

They have far, far fewer wide bodies than we do. They codesare a lot of it.

Yea, to put it context, about 60% for the 777 FO which pays about 15% more than the 764. Delta doesn’t band the same as United

The 76-400 FO in ATL is about 75% for comparison

You’ll also note that the 777 FO in LAX is 3 years

There is a large vacancy bid that is open right now at UA. It closes next Friday, so the award will either be out that afternoon or more likely on the following Monday. This is advertised as the last large bid to set us up for summer 19. There will be more small bids ahead to fine tune and keep the new hire process moving, but after this bid we should have a pretty good idea of the seniority levels for next summer.

So, maybe after that closes we could give you the numbers for where it looks to be for somebody coming in the door over then next few months.

If you went through the trouble of getting them this week, they would not be similar at all to what they will look like next week. The bid has 222 Captain bids with 98 of them for 777 or 787, 196 FO bids with 102 of them 777 or 787, so there is going to be a great deal of movement throughout the system. On the "snapshot" of what the bid looks like today, the junior Captain is a Jan 2016 hire.

Good info. I’m really curious what United’s breakdown would be. Thanks for posting. [emoji1360]

Try 4 years. Unless you don’t count the 764 as a widebody.
