Default new aircraft orders?

In the earnings report it said last month we ordered

4 more 777-300s
24 more 737 Max

Anybody hear more on this, like when they will be coming?

Also net gain of 33 airplanes next year. Should get us to 13200 pilots total which would mean 800-900 new hires.

We need to be ordering the new 777-9, not the 300ER. If the new order is true, it is not showing on the fleet web site yet.

The 4 777-300 are on the fleet website now. Not sure about the Max's.

Does this also take into account retirements?

20 A-319s from EasyJet coming in 2020. Plus at least 8 more from China Southern as well.

And likely retirements of the oldest UAL 320 starting in 2020 unless the plan has changed. Fingers crossed.

It probably depends on whether or not the economy has turned down in 2020. Fly 'em 'til people buy less tickets...
