The legal dept should expect this type of suit about daily, no need to be surprised.

I haven’t gone back to the details of the flight, people like the potential opportunity for cheap $$$.

What wasn’t mentioned was that they had to dump fuel before landing or North America would capsize.

After the company wins this lawsuit, they should ban this clown. Who cares if he’s a million miler. Set an example for others to see what happens when you get greedy.

WTH is wrong with people?! He definitely should be banned, but I'm willing to bet UAL will offer him something to go away. Horrible precedents are being set!

Someone cue in the Bozo the Clown soundtrack...

It’s the entitlement culture of America. Everyone thinks they are owed something. I hope this guy suffers a horrible brain aneurism.

He is probably about to get fired and thinks he can get something from UA on his way out.

Honestly, from reading that article, I'm thinking mental illness.....

The legal complaint linked in the article is even more bizarre.

The moral of the story is if you land in Goose plan on remaining in airplane for at least 8 hours.

For all you non-pilot types reading this thread:

This isn't the first nor will it be the last window to shatter and without compromising safety. Think of all those chickens who gave their lives for your safety shot at the front window to test its strength.

Get on, sit down, fasten your seat belt AND shut up!

That legal complaint reads like a bad Alice in Wonderland story. I’m just glad that (according to the complaint) the F/O was able to “push against the window” to hold it in place.

Surely this FO deserves the Purple Hand Bravo Award for his or her selfless act; saving all aboard from “dying many times over”

Glad the FO wound up the rubber bands on the walk around. Otherwise the engines might have stopped mid-flight.

He’s going to be awarded a purple tie.

HercAC 01-25-2019 05:06 AM

Maybe the hero FO will be invited to the White House for Big Macs and “many, many french fries” compliments of the illustrious Agent Orange😂
