Interview prep

Hello everyone.
I got an invitation to interview in the next couple of weeks. Looking for some info on the tech/skill assessment/crm steps. I have been looking around here for a similar thread, but unable to find it.
Thanks in advance for anything meaningful you folks here can share.

It was a while back, but Holly with Cage Marshall Consulting no doubt helped me with the HR part to get the CJO at UAL and SWA. Good prep without feeding canned answers.

Congrats and good luck!

I second Cage. They helped me immensely with the HR portion. At the time it was a sim ride instead of the tech portion they are doing now, but Cage will be knowledgable about the tech portion now.

I second Dee Dee at Cage. Getting feedback about how I was formulating my responses to the HR questions was incredibly helpful and gave me a confidence boost so I could relax when it came time for the real interview.

Thank you much.

Dee Dee did my real UAL interview in the 90s. She was known as the Terminator... so she has some serious street cred. :D

Dee Dee don't play. If you can pass with her then you will be fine. She's tough but she will get you ready. Worth every $ spent.

Interviewing at United go with DeeDee at Cage. I did and passed with no issues. Good luck.

Congratulations but any one else reading this that has not received the invite, waiting until you have an invite to start interview prep is a mistake. There have been some very short turn around on interviews and I'd hate for people to get caught off guard.

I used ECIC as well as a volunteer on base with HR Airline background, any prep is good just you'll need enough time to take the feedback they give and actually implement it.

I interviewed last Wednesday. I had 12 days to prepare. A guy in my group got the hogan the Thursday before, took it right away, and got the invite Friday afternoon. 4 days...

Does Cage also rate highly for app reviews? Thanks.

I’m not sure about Cage for app review but I used checkedandset.net for my app review. It’s a previous UAL hiring manager. I didn’t have any glaring issues but he helped me to formulate things like job descriptions and such to attempt to get he attention of the algorithms. Well worth it. Got the interview in 2015 shortly after the app review.

I had close to 30 days and I still felt "rushed" granted I took every part of my process deadly serious and according to my wife overly stressed about it. I'm sure I would have been okay without some of my prep, however I walked away from my interview feeling like I slam dunked it (I got the job at least), and while I was still nervious for that following week to hear the results I much rather over prepair for somthing like this than leave it up to chance.

I cant believe how many people after I got hired contacted me about app reviews / interview prep and showed hesitancy to spend a few hundred bucks on something that could be the difference between making a dream job.

The way I try to frame it for people is that if your interview prep / app review service gets you hired just one week earlier (it very well could be much longer) than it is money well spent. Additionally the skills gained can be applied to any interview beyond airlines.

Me too!

Just from what I hear from our new pilots Cage seems to get the nod for UAL prep, but Emerald also gets good reviews.
