I have a masters, got the hogan 2 months after graduation and 6 months after an app review. Either one or both could have triggered it.

I'd only get a graduate degree if I truly was passionate about whatever field of study, NOT as a resume booster.

LCA, volunteer work, job fair, new type/training event, etc would go a lot further than anything past a 4 yr degree I'm sure in terms of likelihood of getting noticed

Ive never heard of a pilot getting a masters to enhance his resume.

But we had a Dentist, a PHD, and one of my best friends didnt go to college, but he was a legendary Twin Beech night mail pilot in Ky. (btw, the dentist dropped out two weeks in).

This was in 1969 at Southern Airways, which was the smallest regional around (i think). We all retired on the 400, so all that fancy schooling really came in handy.

No, Dude, is not a millennial thing....I'm from CA, and a proud Dude.

My recent favorite, a millennial coming out of the Victoria tubes station in LHR, ran right into me--on his phone, no apology or anything, looked at me like it was my fault, I said, "Dude!" I'm guessing it was then that he figured I wasn't from around there...

Absolutely, plus it could be something to fall back on if something happens to prevent me from getting a 1st class.
