Sun n Fun

Will United Airlines be collecting resumes at Sun N Fun?

rightside02 03-30-2019 12:57 PM

Very doubtful ... haven’t ever seen them there .

fadec 03-30-2019 04:34 PM

Sun 'n Fun is too focused on aviation, which has zero correlation to today's workplace. Candidates need to exhibit social responsibility, women's advocacy, empowering minorities and other marginalized groups, speaking truth to power, reversing climate change, pride, gender equality, gun safety, etc. You're not going to find much of an emphasis on those things at Sun 'N Fun.

Another poor victim of white privilege.

Delta was there two years ago and United is bringing a jet up to OSHKOSH this summer. This is a reasonable question. I’d check the sun and fun website if I were interested in the answer.

Bitter party of one, your table is ready.

Fadec....not being part of the PC police...I thought your post was humorous....for you other guys....lighten up. Your "offense" is less believable than the underlying truth of FADEC's post

BTW....did you see Biden's apology tour.....see somebody gets it!

rightside02 03-31-2019 11:43 AM

Nailed it, snowflakes in full melt mode!!!

Now this was humorous! Have to admit it, fadec made a funny!
To the original post, I was at both SnF and Oshkosh last year. I didn't see any United presence. now ALPA, on the other hand, was there, so there were a few United pilots in uniform... but talking to ALPA doesn't get you a job...
Didn't go to SnF this year., so I can't answer to that directly.

I went to that Job Fair. Cheapest job fair ever, 6 months later, I received an invite for interview.

Best things of it:

1. Is by appointment, you get a time slot, go there and meet them.
2. Not many people go.
3. When you’re done, change clothes and get back to the airshow.

You’re part of the problem if you don’t see the humor in this.
