Speak for yourself. I'm not rushing to stand in line for equally sh###y (or worse) airport food at 6AM before a 6 hr transcon and then begging the FAs for leftover tapas boxes. And yes that's what your Delta heroes did when I commuted on them. Our meals are fine.
If you want to join the Delta PS envy clan, ask the MEC to let the company outsource 2/3 of our global flying.
Quit eating the cheesecake and they are healthy enough.

Not to change the subject but I have heard this a lot. It doesn’t match what I see out on the line. I can’t think of a destination we fly to globally, that a delta jet isn’t sitting at a gate. I will admit i only fly Europe but if the 2/3s stat is true it should be noticeable.

Since I’m only domestic swine (until Guppy goes North Atlantic), I don’t keep tabs on everyone’s comings and goings, but I do know that Delta doesn’t have a SEA-LHR flight. Have we gone codeshare out of any of our hubs to destinations as big as LHR?

They are resuming India flights and they fly JNB while we don’t. I’ll admit there is a lot in the pacific I don’t know about. That list should be a lot longer if they outsource two thirds.

FWIW, it is noticeable.
Current large wide body fleets:
DAL (A330/A350/B777): 73
UAL (B777/B787): 136
Granted, DAL has 24 more 767s than UAL, but UAL’s large wide body fleet is approaching TWICE the size of DAL’s. And DAL also trails AA (115).

Not to London, now that Denver 787 started flying it we have at least one a day from all our hubs except CLE.

That’s pretty black and white there. I was just asking based on what I have seen. We chase DAL all over Europe. I’ve seen 3 UAL 757s sitting in DUB to DALs 3 764s.

Can we discuss the fine chicken crew meal with the “blacked grill marks” just perfectly etched with straight lines on it..... as if that piece of chicken ever saw a grill or a chicken for that matter ....
